About Us
“What if I spend all this time training, and they quit?”
Our answer to that questions is:
What if you spend NO TIME training them, and they stay?
Kibler & Associates was founded in 2004 as a way for Bill Kibler to apply his learnings from Bob Evans Farms to other industries. At Bob Evans, he was responsible for the development, production, and implementation of their interactive computer-based training program, which delivered, tracked, and managed the training of more than 63,000 new employees hired every year.
Since its founding, Kibler & Associates has consulted with organizations that have a desire to improve their training through the use of technology. Besides having a unique background in hospitality and retail, we have extensive experience with supply chain management, healthcare, manufacturers, universities, safety organizations, training businesses and gaming businesses.
With Medline University, we built the largest outward facing LMS (learning management system) offering free continuing education credits for nurses, CNAs and administrators. The site is completely intuitive and user friendly. We worked closely with Medline to develop highly interactive competency based content that guides the user through often complex concepts and procedures.
Because of our background in hiring, training, and retaining a diverse workforce in high-turnover industries, our experience qualifies us to consult with a variety of businesses facing similar challenges. Kibler and Associates is experienced in managing employee performance, building leadership teams, communicating with employees, interviewing, hiring and employment practices, sexual harassment, diversity, workplace safety, and more.
We know that classroom instructors can not be replaced. But with a “blended” training program of technology and classroom learning, computers can teach, test, and certify new employees on theories, policies, and procedures. With the time saved by using this technology, classroom facilitators can conduct shorter classes that are more engaging. Students who have pre-certified themselves by acquiring all the knowledge beforehand, can then attend fun, shortened classes that just practice the application of that knowledge.
Let us show you how.
Bill Kibler
A 23 year veteran of Bob Evans Farms who built and grew their training program, Bill saw the potential online training had for increasing employee retention, productivity and safety, while saving time and money. Estimates showed consistent margin improvement, reducing operating costs approximately $15 million dollars in the first year of adoption. In 2004, Bill founded Kibler & Associates based on the success of his expertise in developing online training curriculums linking needed business capabilities to real world, sustainable results. Since its inception, Kibler & Associates has continued to produce great results for its client companies in the healthcare, hospitality and food & beverage industries.
Connie Yuska
Throughout her career, Connie has been passionate about giving employees the knowledge and tools they need to provide safe, high quality care to patients in all healthcare settings. She began her career at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as a staff nurse and then was promoted to a unit manager position. Connie has held senior executive positions in both the hospital and home care settings as Vice President of Operations for Home Care for Northwestern Memorial Home Care, Inc. in Chicago Illinois. She has also held the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Resurrection and Holy Family Medical Centers in the Chicagoland area and at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She most recently held the newly created position of Vice President, System of Care at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL where she was responsible for designing a governance structure that incorporated the new concepts of planning and communicating care across the continuum.
When she transitioned from the hospital setting to the home care setting, she immediately realized the tremendous void in the knowledge base of health care practitioners as they planned care for the patient. In most instances, they did not have the training they needed to think about the next care setting or what would be most appropriate for the patient, given their ever changing condition. As a Chief Nursing Officer in two health systems, she was ultimately responsible for the oversight of quality of care and for patient outcomes. Her goal was to include education for employees that spanned the continuum of care. The US health care system is undergoing tremendous transformation focused on improving the health of the population, controlling cost and maintaining quality. Now more than ever before, education and training of health care practitioners in every health care setting must be transformed and focused on the entire health care continuum so that every patient receives the care they need in the most appropriate and cost effective setting.
Connie holds a Baccalaureate and Master’s Degree in Nursing and is Certified in Executive Nursing Practice.
